The player navigates the world from a third-person viewpoints, use his punching and kicking abilities to destroy enemies and reach to the end of each of level to move to the next. According to storyline, the Decepticons intercept the meteor, approaching the planet Earth, and the Autobots reach to save the world by defeating the Decepticons.
During the gameplay, the player can continue his battle with 11 playable characters in Multiplayer mode. It enables the player to play as one of his favorite Autobot characters from available as he struggle to battle through a variety of missions around the globe to defeat the Decepticons. The game supports both Single-player and Multiplayer modes and offers the exciting gameplay based on the television series Transformer: Prime.
